Chaos and resolve. 

Welcome to my website – the digital home for my art. I hope my photographs will intrigue you, pose questions for you, and also encourage self-reflection, dialogue, and discussion. For me, the camera becomes an extension of myself in a visceral and tangible way but also spiritually…as if a vessel for something greater. My wish is for you to enjoy the colours and textures of nature’s architecture, and beyond these perceivable visual elements, sense the human experiences woven throughout each image.

Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of respect and reconciliation, I acknowledge that the important and sacred land on which I live and create is the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai (Blood) Nations; the Stoney-Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley Nations; and the Tsuut’ina Nation, and all the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. The City of Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

I live on the land adjacent to where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, and that the traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Moh’kins’tsis,” which we now call the City of Calgary. As I now gather here, I honour our ancestors by recognizing that I have ongoing responsibilities to protect and honour all of life within our shared reality as treaty people.
